HOUSTON, TEXAS (April 30, 2012) — Abby’s Catering (Abby’s), an established front-runnerin the food service industry has been chosen to manage another on-site cafeteria property, mostrecently by executives of Crane Worldwide Logistics, LLC and its affiliates, Champion EnergyServices™ and Crane Freight Services.

The installation of the gleaming, contemporary-style cafeteria officially opened April 30. The venture is managed and staffed by Abby’s Catering Management Services division and benefits Crane’s over 400 employees. The cafeteria has seating for 70, and is housed on–site within Crane’s new 300,000 square foot headquarters located near the Hardy Toll Road, close to Bush Intercontinental Airport. Interestingly, the opening coincided with the influx of Crane’s staff as they segued from their existing location to their new, modern offices across the street.

From the first day, Abby’s began serving items from their acclaimed breakfast and lunch menus, as well as post-lunch options into mid-afternoon. Belgian waffles, quesadillas, burritos, bagels, muffins, croissants, and freshly squeezed orange juice start the morning. At lunch, diners will enjoy gourmet Chef’s specials such as Chicken Cordon Bleu and heart-healthy entrees like Pasta Primavera or Grilled Tilapia with Tropical Fruit Salsa. A featured salad like Jerk Salmon is on the menu too. Signature cold and hot sandwiches, soups, pre-made salads, smoothies, frozen yogurt and desserts are offered.
In addition, the employees can also utilize vending machines stocked with snacks and healthy items, as well as a state-of-the art fountain dispenser, all part of the services that Abby’s provides.
