HOUSTON, TEXAS (November 13, 2012) — The Federal Department of Transportation has chosen an esteemed catering company as the full-service culinary provider for their new cafeteria, which serves government employees.
Abby’s Catering of Houston won the bid to establish and operate the cafeteria facilities for the Federal Aviation Association’s Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), located at George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The ARTCC houses approximately 400 employees, including air traffic controllers and support staff. Abby’s is a well-known industry leader in aircraft and corporate catering, retail delicatessen and management of on-site cafeterias, making the company the perfect fit as the supplier.
